ICAM/Access Management Engineer

Overview

The ICAM/Access Management Engineer will be a member of the eMentum client services team, performing system engineering duties for a high profile client. The engagement is to support a PMO at a federal agency. The program provides change management, programmatic, and technical support to the agency’s mission and strategic goals. The effort includes several activates to fulfill the PMO program objectives. 

 

  • Successful completion of government background investigation required. Secret Security Clearance or above, desirable

Responsibilities

  • Provide architecture support to ensure that the architecture of the Enterprise PIV Logical Access Services implementation comply with the Federal Identity, Credential and Access Management Roadmap and Implementation Guidance, Version 2.0 (FICAM).
  • Provide architecture support for the agency ICAM Segment Architecture V1.0 (ICAM SA) and current and target ICAM architectures.
  • Provide ICAM engineering and architecture advisory services to support the enterprise integration of the enterprise PIV validation and access control solution to support systems and applications across the enterprise. The support will include assisting in engineering the solution architecture for the PIV validation and access control solutions and integration with targeted applications.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, possessing in-depth knowledge in ICAM including PK- and PIV-enablement of Windows and non-Windows (e.g., Apple, UNIX, Mainframe) domains, systems and applications; deployment and administration of Active Directory, ADFS and other federated claims-based authentication solutions; and deployment and administration of derived PIV credentials for mobility solutions.
  • Provide analysis related to the design, development, and integration of ICAM hardware and software and all system level requirements to provide an integrated ICAM solution.
  • Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments.
  • Establishes goals and plans that meet project objectives.
  • Has domain and expert technical knowledge.
  • Deliver in project settings that require a grasp of cross-functional subject matter, including people, processes, and technology aspects of change across multiple business units

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of total related experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact effectively with a variety of contacts/relationships, including senior-level managers and technical SMEs
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple work streams, multi-task and work well under tight deadlines
  • Self-starter with a great deal of initiative and willing to contribute to a small business
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Windows and non-Windows domain deployment and administration, and network management and productivity tools
  • U. S. citizenship required
