Overview

eMentum is seeking an experienced Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will assist across a wide variety of subject matter areas.  You will work within a team to define, implement, and support our client’s Digital Services Center to help document and plan software improvements to their SaaS and PaaS platforms.

 

We are looking for a multi-dimensional individual who values quality assurance, customer delivery, and service excellence.  Tasks you may be asked to perform include standards definition, process mapping, requirements analysis, functional and/or user design, testing and quality assurance, documentation, training, and/or user support. You may also be asked to develop executive briefings, marketing/communication artifacts, spreadsheet analysis, project plans, and other valued artifacts.

The successful candidate must be a US Citizen and able to attain a Level-5 security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Capture and record requirements
  • Track requirements across the SDLC in support of an Agile development model
  • Develop functional and user designs for new software and software enhancements
  • Perform testing of new software and software enhancements
  • Develop project artifacts, including planning documents, communications artifacts, briefings, minutes, release notes, test cases/user stories, and reports
  • Manage and resolve issues as they arrive
  • Identify risks and develop contingencies
  • Define, implement, and administer a change management process
  • Define, track, and report against performance measures
  • Prepare business analyses and engagement deliverables
  • Apply problem-solving techniques and frameworks

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Experience with collecting, analyzing, and reporting data
  • Experience with gathering and decomposing business requirements
  • Experience with software testing
  • Experience with change management and quality control
  • Excellent customer service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Must be able to work independently

Education and/or Training:

  • BA/BS in Business, Information Technology or related field
  • 4+ years IT consulting experience

 Differentiators:

  • ITIL Certification
  • PMP
  • Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum
  • Experience with Appian and/or Salesforce
