    eMentum is seeking an experienced training professional to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and deliver training across a wide variety of subject matter areas, focusing on Digital Services on the client’s SaaS and PaaS platforms for business-specific solutions. You will also establish a platform training program to familiarize Agile teams on applicable standards, best practices, compliance, and related governance issues for services being developed. In addition, you will provide on-boarding and training services for external Agile (i.e., Scrum) team members on governance models, technical guidelines, and standards to streamline the development process.


    You will work with your Federal clients to assess their current training programs and to identify where best practices may be applied to improve their delivery, execution, and administration. You will also work with your clients’ subject matter experts to refine training programs. The successful candidate will be experienced with different learning methodologies and technologies, understanding when they should and should not be applied and being able to implement evaluation and feedback techniques to produce lessons learned and improvements.

    • Develop, present, and manage training programs
    • Apply ADDIE and SAM curriculum design methodologies and apply them to existing curriculum
    • Develop new and innovative strategies to convey content to Federal and contractor personnel
    • Design and develop training solutions, including classroom instruction, blended learning solutions, and online learning opportunities
    • Identify process or program gaps and develop a corrective course of action
    • Establish and maintain strong relationships with business and functional group members to align objectives, resources and expectations
    • Establish project scope, requirements definition, and create, modify and support the training plan
    • Orchestrate the development of functional and technical requirements for training activities
    • Contribute to regular, periodic, status meetings to apprise all stakeholders of project progress, issues, challenges, risks, and other activities
    • Work in concert with a Training Project Manager to ensure deliverables are complete, accurate and on time
    • Conduct a systematic evaluation of training effectiveness, in terms of behavioral changes and skill acquisition 
    • Be aware of upcoming changes in policy and research to plan training solutions to ensure employees on the latest agency and policy requirements
    • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate effectiveness of training based on program goals, providing reporting and feedback as necessary
    • Identify potential areas of compliance and quality control review; implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid or deal with similar situations in the future
    • Maintain currency on latest training and development trends, technologies, and industry best practices


    Required Skills:


    • Design and delivery of instructor-led training, online courses, and blended learning solutions
    • Strong leadership skills including delegation, decision making, problem solving, and follow-up
    • Ability to initiate, organize, prioritize, and manage simultaneous tasks
    • Experience using leading Federal learning management systems for recording all training activities.
    • Experience and working knowledge of at least one rapid development tool (e.g. Presenter, Captivate, Articulate)
    • Experience using the full suite of Microsoft Office tools (Power Point, Word, Excel, etc)
    • Ability to meet deadlines, which are subject to change, and frequently have short time constraints
    • Strong attention to detail coupled with excellent follow up capabilities
    • Experience designing products that are Section 508 compliant
    • Independently execute tasks in a timely manner and produce quality results
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, team development and coaching skills, and personal leadership characteristics

    Education and/or Experience:

    • BA/BS in Education, Information Technology, or related field.  Graduate Degree a plus
    • 10 Years of training experience with corporate or government audiences
    • Computer Based Training and Web Based Delivery experience
    • Curriculum Design experience using ADDIE and/or SAM methodologies



    • Familiarity with Appian and Salesforce platforms
    • Familiarity with NIST, OMB, and department IT and cyber security guidance, Section 508, HIPAA, Privacy Act, and related requirements
    • Consulting experience with Federal Clients
    • PMP
