eMentum is seeking an experienced Web Software Developer/Designer (Salesforce Focus) to join our team. The successful candidate will provide development and consulting focusing on the client’s SaaS and PaaS platforms and environment. You will work with Agile teams to help support the development, test, and production environments.



We are looking for a multi-dimensional individual who values quality assurance, customer delivery, and service excellence. The successful candidate will have experience with following a software development life-cycle and understanding the concepts of configuration management, version control, and authoring and updating lifecycle documents. Tasks you may be asked to perform include identification of technical requirements and the design, development, testing, and implementation of web-based applications, bug fixes, and software releases. You may be working on a minimum viable product (MVP) to test new business processes or a full production solution as needed by client and project priorities.

  • Support the development, test, and production Salesforce environments
  • Development, unit testing, and issue resolution for enterprise-wide platform architectural designs, enhancements, and new functionality
  • Development of technical requirements and designs to support user and functional requirements
  • Assist in designing the system for maximum interoperability to ensure flexibility in leveraging the platform for future applications and functionality
  • Assist in the design and implementation of a user rights, permissions, and security model
  • Design and develop system changes in a manner that supports interoperability with future development efforts and in an open architecture environment, allowing for reuse of common objects across modules
  • Design and develop secure mechanisms to allow data exchange and interaction with external systems through APIs or other methods


Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of Salesforce platforms, including:
    • Object oriented services and applications
    • Design and development of Salesforce integrations to upstream and downstream application APIs
    • Development with REST Web services and Salesforce Object Query Languages (SOQL, SOSL)
    • Experience with JavaScript programming skills with latest Salesforce frameworks
  • Experience building scalable data oriented services and applications
  • Experience in the implementation of data exchange between systems in different locations through web services
  • Knowledge of web page layout and design/development best practices for customer-facing websites
  • Experience with issue analysis and defect resolution to support a production system
  • Experience in Agile development methodology/Scrum
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Must be able to work independently

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years related experience as a web developer
  • Salesforce developer and/or app builder certification



  • ITIL Certification
  • Salesforce architect or administrator certification  
  • Force.com development experience
