    We are seeking a Project Manager to support the Bureau of Fiscal Service-Administrative Resource Center (ARC) Engagement Effort. The qualified individual will support the ARC by providing appropriate project management support to initiate, plan, and control the project and project support activities.

     

    US citizenship and successful completion of government background investigation is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Collaboration with the ARC and Customer Agency teams to develop integrated project schedules detailing the activities and timelines necessary for completion of the Engagement
    • Manage schedule execution, schedule status collection and status reporting activities throughout the Engagement project lifecycles.
    • Maintain and execute risk and issue management activities including the identification, development of mitigation plans, and closure of risks / issues as
    • Oversee / coordinate the development of agendas for the various requirements gathering and gap solution development work sessions held between ARC and the customer
    • Coordinate work session scheduling logistics, including collecting and maintaining invitee lists, sending invitations,
    • Oversee / coordinate the development of various management plans / strategies as necessary for the execution of the Engagement and future Migration phases of the implementation
    • Coordinating day-to-day work based on technical issues and status with ARC and customer agency
    • Oversee the development of high-level timeline schedules for Migration

    Qualifications

    Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrated experience in project management and all of its industry best practices.
    • Ability to work with executive management and other key players in a work setting.
    • Ability to develop multiple ideas and alternative solutions (issue resolution) to a given business problem or need.
    • Proficient in Outlook – in order to create and update meeting invitations

    Education and/or Experience:

    • BA/BS in related field
    • 10+ years project management experience 
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus.
